The Smart Magnetic Sensor

- Axial and Transverse magnetic probes available
- Ranges: 2000, 200, 20mT and Auto
- Analog and Digital output
- 3½ Digit LCD readout
- Auto shut-off
- Temperature compensated sensor
- Software included
With the 3½ Digit LCD readout you can use the sensor as a stand-alone magnetic field meter. In addition, the sensor is provided with an RS232 digital input/output so you can connect it directly to the serial port of your computer and take data with the included software.
An EEPROM inside the probe has been programmed for temperature compensation of non-linearity error. Following a patented method, the unit removes temperature effects of magnetic sensitivity, resistive residual voltage and also all magneto resistive effects . If necessary, the unit can be re-calibrated easily with the help of the Zero-Gauss Chamber. An RS232c male to female cable (not supplied) is needed for connecting the TeslaMeter 2000 to the RS232 connector on the computer or to another instrument with an RS232 input. Analog output available at pins 1 and 5 of the RS232 socket.
TeslaMeter 2000 Software
The TeslaMeter 2000 Software automatically collects data from the TeslaMeter 2000. The software automatically recognizes the range selected. An autoscaling feature on both axes means you don't have to worry about which range to select. Data is taken at a constant rate of 1 Hz for up to 2 hours. A manual mode is also provided. This allows you to plot magnetic field vs. position. Data is taken each time a key is pressed. You can then move the probe, press the key and get a reading at that position. Autoscaling of both axes is also provided in this mode. You can select either com1, com 2, com 3, or com 4. The software is extremely easy to use.
The TeslaMeter 2000 comes with complete operating instructions, a transverse probe, and an external power supply. The Zero Gauss Chamber and software are also included.
