TEL-SP38
The SP38 provides a complete detector assembly for gamma spectroscopy applications. The 38x38mm NaI(Tl) crystal includes PMT and voltage divider as an integral assembly. The probe is supplied complete with a 10-position sample stand, lead shield and cables for connecting directly to the spectrometer. Resolution is typically 7% @ 662 keV.
TEL-ST365, Model A or B
The ST365 Radiation Counter provides new technology in nuclear lab systems for studying the characteristics of radiation. The ST365 supports GM detectors, as well as scintillation detectors, with the use of an internal preamplifier and high voltage supply – for use as a gamma counter for wipe testing and other gross gamma measurements.
The ST365 operates as a standalone or using a computer (PC or Mac) via USB, Ethernet connection, or Wi-Fi. Mobile devices may connect via Wi-Fi. This allows for data to be collected and displayed on the screen in either analog or digital format. The control software stores data in a format that can easily be transferred directly to many common spreadsheet programs.
TEL-GP35
A complete detector assembly utilizing a 35mm diameter end windowed GM tube for Alpha Beta Gamma detection. The plastic stand includes a sample tray and features 10-slots with 1cm spacing for performing inverse square law experiments and holding radiation absorbers.
The GM probe is readily removed from the stand for safe storage, hand-held applications or replacement.
TEL-GM35

TEL-RAS20
This is a complete absorber set. It has 20 calibrated absorbers ranging from 5mg/cm^2 to 7200 mg/cm^2 for use with α, β and γ attenuation studies. Absorbers are made from plastic, aluminum and lead.
TEL-RSS2
This set is used for determining the resolving time of GM Counters. It consists of three half discs, two of which contain 5 microcuries of Tl-204 plus a third half disc with no activity. The count-rate of each half disc plus the blank (to maintain constant geometry) is measured and then both active half discs are combined for a measurement with high count-rate. The counting loss may now be calculated by adding the rates from each half disc and comparing the result to the count-rate with both halves combined.
TEL-RSS3
The RSS-3 is a set of three sources. It contains 1 each Po-210, Sr-90 and Co-60 emitting a range of alpha, beta and gamma radiation's. This set is ideal for demonstration and introductory nuclear labs covering basic characteristics of radiation. The Co-60 is 1.0 uCi and the Po-210 and Sr-90 are 0.1 uCi activity.
TEL-RSS5
A set of 5 sources: Polonium-210, 0.1 µ Ci; Cesium-137, 5 µ Ci; Sr-90, 0.1 µ Ci; TI-204,1 µ Ci; CO-60, 1 µ Ci.
TEL-RSS8
A set of 8 sources including one each of Co-57 at 1 µ Ci, Na-22 at 1 µ Ci, Cs-137 at 1 µ Ci, Co-60 at 1 µ Ci, Eu-152 at 0.5 µ Ci, Cd-109 at 1 µ Ci, Ba-133 at 1 µ Ci and an unknown mixture of two nuclides. All are exempt quantities.
TEL-I137/O
- Demonstrate properties of radioactive decay.
- Easy and safe to use.
- Safe for normal drain disposal.
The Cs-137/Ba-137m Isotope Generator has been designed for use in experiments in schools and universities to demonstrate the properties of radioactive decay. Based on the original Union Carbide patented design, it offers exceptional performance combined with ease of use and safe operation.
TEL-400LHCC
The chamber creates a volume of supersaturated alcohol vapor that condenses on ions left in the wake of charged particles. This is accomplished by establishing a steep vertical temperature gradient with dry ice. Alcohol evaporates from the warm topside and diffuses toward the cold bottom. The gravitationally stable temperature distribution permits a layer of supersaturation near the chamber bottom. Tracks of alcohol droplets indicate trajectories of charged particles, since each ion becomes a nucleation site for droplet condensation.
This cloud chamber is more suitable for lecture hall demonstrations. It has a viewing area measuring 51 x 51 cm. Fourteen kg of dry ice and 500 ml of ethanol will operate this chamber for 8 hours.
TEL-400DCC
The chamber creates a volume of supersaturated alcohol vapor that condenses on ions left in the wake of charged particles. This is accomplished by establishing a steep vertical temperature gradient with dry ice. Alcohol evaporates from the warm topside and diffuses toward the cold bottom. The gravitationally stable temperature distribution permits a layer of supersaturation near the chamber bottom. Tracks of alcohol droplets indicate trajectories of charged particles, since each ion becomes a nucleation site for droplet condensation.
The Diffusion Cloud Chamber TEL-400CC has a sensitive area of 25 by 25 centimeters.
TEL-400CEA
The electrode is designed to be inserted, via the cloud chamber ports, into the sensitive region of the chamber. High voltage from the included 3kV-power supply is supplied via a standard SHV connection. The clearing field electrode will increase the sensitive layer depth, which is especially helpful in observing cosmic ray events. This also includes the dedicated light source. (For use with the TEL-400DCC and TEL-400LHCC Cloud Chambers.)
TEL-400REM
This rare earth magnet will produce a 1000 gauss field, which is strong enough to bend the trajectory of low energy Beta particles. (For use with the TEL-400DCC and TEL-400LHCC Cloud Chambers.)
TEL-400ACR
A special anti-fog compound is included with each chamber. This is the refill for that compound. (For use with the TEL-400DCC and TEL-400LHCC Cloud Chambers.)
TEL-400XS
This 25 microcurie iron-55 source will produce 5.9 keV K-shell capture xrays. (For use with the TEL-400DCC and TEL-400LHCC Cloud Chambers.)
TEL-Pb210
Pb-210 needle source 0.01 microcuries of Lead-210 in equilibrium with its daughters Bi-210 and Po-210, produces a source of both alpha and beta particles. (For use with the TEL-DCC600)
TEL-UCS30-1K, UCS30-2K, UCS30-4K
Designed as a direct replacement for the popular model UCS20, the UCS30 nuclear spectrometer offers many enhancements and additional features for increased flexibility.
USB connectivity provides plug and play operation with most of computers running Windows 2000 or XP. Three models are available with 1024, 2048 and 4096 channels of conversion gain.
The internal preamplifier allows direct connection to scintillation detectors. The bipolar amplifier includes polarity selection and multiple shaping times when using different types of detectors with external preamplifiers. Upper and lower level discriminators may be set for rejection of unwanted signals.
The high voltage supply is rated to +2000V for use with scintillation or proportional detectors. Optional polarity selection is available for use with detectors requiring negative bias. A preamplifier power connector is included for use with our model PA-1 external preamplifier.
